Cu Chi tunnels are immense network of connecting underground tunnels located in the Cu Chi district of Ho Chi Minh City , Vietnam, and are part of a much larger network of tunnels that underlie much of the country. With about 200 km in length, the tunnels system includes clinics, storage facilities, weapons factories, kitchen, warehouse, office, conference room, hospitals, and command centers. The Cu Chi tunnels were the location of several military campaigns during the Vietnam War, and were the Viet Cong’s base of operations for the Tet Offensive in 1968.

CU CHI HALF DAY GROUP TOUR ITINERARY
In the morning: start at 7:15am – 1:30pm
07:15AM Depart to Cu Chi tunnels from our office. Around 9:30AM Arriving at Cu Chi tunnels (Ben Dinh) and proceeding to an underground hut to watch a short video and presentation about Cu Chi tunnels before having a real hand-on experience of what it took to live in the tunnels. Afterward, test tasting the steamed tapioca root which is the main staple food in Cu Chi during the war. For those interested, there is an opportunity to fire off an AK47 or MK16 with real ammunitions at the nearby shooting range. Leaving Cu Chi tunnels at noon and returning back to HCM city for lunch at own expense.
