Cao Dai Tample and Cu Chi Tunnels in Tay Ninh, about 2 hour from Ho Chi Minh City by car. The first stop is Tay Ninh , the largest church of Cao Dai religion in the South of our country. Attend the mid-day ceremony, hear and see the administrative functions in the Holy See, with colorful costumes when praying. After the ceremony, the tour will stop for food and rest at a local restaurant. After that, continue the journey to discover Cu Chi Address, a network of small tunnels and sisters, pulling a series of bones up to 200km long. Learn about the importance of the address in the war against the US, how the Viet Cong soldiers used it during the resistance years. Then, explore the bunkers, military centers, weapons bunkers, and other places in the tunnels!
07:15AM Departing from our office to Cao Dai Temple where daily Mass is held by Cao Dai’s followers at noon. Cao Dai is the combination of Confucianism, Christianity, Taoism and Buddhism. Afterward, have lunch at a nearby restaurant.
02:00PM Arriving at Cu Chi tunnels (Ben Dinh) and proceeding to an underground hut to watch a short video and presentation about Cu Chi tunnels before having a real hand-on experience of what it took to live in the tunnels. Afterward, test tasting the steamed tapioca root which is the main staple food in Cu Chi during the war. For those interested, there is an opportunity to fire off an AK47 or MK16 with real ammunitions at the nearby shooting range.
